"Brees' new deal should equal Peytons in vastness . . . projected 4 years 72 million with 36 to 40 guaranteed"

bet it will end up being a 5 year deal for close to 90 :FOFRBanana0518HL:

do they have anyone else this off season who might be costly to keep?

Still not a reason to root for them. His deal was going to be monstrous either way.

RFAs for the saints - Jamaal Brown, Pierre Thomas, Lance Moore, Roman Harper, and Jhari Evans.

    UFAs - Fujita, Brunell, Sharper.

In all, they have 29 players with contracts expiring.

Brees > Manning, at least when it mattered.

Brady > Manning when it matters most.

I can't believe he threw a pick six in that situation. He was close to having 3 picks in the last 5 minutes, all on him.

I think Brees is habitually underrated. I think Manning is overrated. Yes, he is an elite QB, but he has one of the best pass blocking Olines in NFL history. He had all day, even on that pick six. Brees had to play under pressure more in the first half, but once he adjusted, he was almost flawless. He had, what, 3 incomplete passes after the first quarter? ONe was a spike and the other was a gimme drop by Bush.

I hate that NO got Brees, wish Miami could have come up with enough money.

Brady threw 3 interceptions in a loss to the Ravens.

Brady has 3 SB rings and was clutch in all three. He lost one SB but lead the potential game winning drive with 2 minutes to go to take the lead.

Post seand records: Manning 9-9, Brady 14-4.

Brady>Manning in the big games. Period.
