Pep All-Decade

I think he's not undeserving of the All-Decade team because he skipped a practice to a meaningless game. All these other issues are probably something I had nothing to do with.

 

having been a legitimate critic of his after a terrible Dallas game, I can honestly say he didn't dog a game after that.
I'll even say it didn't look like he didn't care in that game, he just had a terrible game.

also I'm fairly certain that the only ones that really defend Randy Moss against criticism are fans of the team he's currently a part of (since I remember Vikings fans defending him against obvious dogging it, too). I'd say a portion of Panther fans are the only ones who have any question over his motor, and from what I've seen those questions were there before they'd adequately seen him. So, in other words, their "scouting" came from ACC watercooler talk from 2000-2001.

 

There's no doubt that Peppers has had some great games for us, in fact great enough to garner quite a few awards/accolades. I would have to disagree with one comment though, because to be truthful its probably more than just "a portion" of Panther fans who question his motor. Hasn't John Fox been questioned about Peppers? Hasn't the national sportsreporters made comments? IMO, the questions about Peppers' motor are the only thing preventing him from having the keys to the city. Those same questions may also be the very reason why the Panthers (JR specifically) hasn't made a contract offer regarding his current FA status, maybe not, but its a strong possibility...
