Was just looking at / compiling a list of Panthers Pro Bowlers (panthers.com had an incomplete list).

Some interesting (at least to me) things jumped out. Forgive me if this is old news or just plain boring.

23 different players represent 43 individual selections.

    Pretty balanced too:
    10 Offensive, 10 Defensive, 4 Special Teams
3 Players tied for most trips with 5: Peppers, Walls, Bates (also one each from each phase of the game)

Most from a position is 6 LB's (combining ILB, MLB, & OLB)
Second most from a position is 3 QB's (that surprised me)

Only 2 OL and only 1 DB.

Addition of Kalil today shifts everything +1 to the offense.

HOw many fox/hurney draft picks have there been?

    I'd take free agents, too.

Interesting: we have also never had a Pro Bowler whose last name began with a vowel.

Ah, ok. Seemed like they were longer ago, but yeah, you're right.

    Thanks.

Addition of Beason as Willis' alternate brings it back into balance.

we've had a lot, all considered. I mean we're a franchise that rarely gets hype, but we've been competitive and we've had some good players.
