    Just some odds and ends news from around the league:

    Reggie Bush is going to marry Kim Kardashian if....

    The NY Post reports; Reggie Bush made a deal with Kim: If the Saints win the Super Bowl, he'll propose to the voluptuous reality star. After reading that I imagine Vegas Odds makers now have the Saints at a million to 1. But seriously it doesn't sound like he's overcome with joy at the prospect. He might win. Odds are he won't (Colts are the favorite), but he's got a good shot at it. It's like a 3 point shot in basketball. "Honey, if I hit this shot I'll marry you". If she had any respect for herself, she'd say "don't do me any favors". Better yet she could say "If I hit every green light on the way home I'll let you sleep with me".

    (I'm sure Reggie was probably drunk when he told Kim K that. She and her Mom were shown on tv to be @ the game in a lux box cheering on the Saints over the weekend.)

    Stewart having foot surgery
    Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart said today on his twitter account that he's undergoing surgery on his foot today. He played last season with ongoing pain in his Achilles, but led the team in rushing with 1,133 yards. He didn't finish the final game against New Orleans, saying he "re-tweaked" the Achilles during the game. Posted by Observer Sports on January 20, 2010 at 07:51 AM | Permalink

    does it bother anyone else that it is the same injury he had when we drafted him that is nagging him now?

    I thought it was his toe that was the problem when we drafted him.

    The injury he had pre-draft was a lis-franc tear, IIRC.

    I thought it was his achilles, maybe I am wrong, I hope it is not something that has lingered that long.

    It was his toe, though word is the achilles may have developed from overcompensating for the toe. I remember an interview his rookie season early in camp where he said he was still having problems trusting it.
