To put that in perspective, Moore couldn't beat out Delhomme in practice either.

Delhomme sucked this year but he has had good years in the past. It is not like Kenneth Moore ever did anything of note other than muffing that punt against Buffalo.

Again, I think you missed the point. People are hard on Jarrett because he hasn't played like a 2nd round pick. However, I remember Jarrett making some key 3rd down catches for us last year. One that comes to mind was one in San Diego.

Delhomme didn't look too bad last year because he seemed to always pull some miraculous throw to Steve Smith out of his ass (or Dante Rosario).

But back to the point, given the talk that Moore couldn't beat Delhomme or McCown out at training camp including this year when Delhomme totally sucked at training camp, I'd reserve who beat who out at training camp comparisons.

I guess there is some weight to that argument but the coaching staff have a build in interest in pushing Jarrett to play. He was a 2nd round pick as you noted. There was no reason to push Moore to start until they decided to give up on Jake. He never showed that he was capable of the things he did at the end of this season.

Jarrett, Moore, Charly Martin, Dexter Jackson
Moose is a FA aside from Steve, we have no WR's!

I think we can agree on that! WR is our biggest need

All opinions aside, we need any 2nd round pick to eventually develop into a key player, so with that said I hope Jarrett will stay and work hard alongside Smitty and Moose.

I would be ok in resigning Peppers, its just hard for me to digest these ridiculous contracts that some athletes get nowadays,,, and then when you have questions about effort too, that just makes it more difficult to swallow.

IMO, our biggest issue this offseason BY FAR, is QB. Moore may not be the answer longterm, but he played well those last 5 games and I think he deserves to be the starter going into camp. I'm just afraid Fox still has Jake up his ass in some respect. We'll see.

Why wouldn't there be interest in an aging locker room problem? mind boggling.
