    I think the uncapped year/potential lockout has a factor in Fox not getting extended.

    duh.

    It is also the reason we won't sign a big name expensive coach if Fox walks. This is the Panthers being ultra conservative and making sure they don't get stuck with big contracts before this lock out. Selling the team may also be a reason. I think the Lacerous dude was on to something there.

    JR has had a rough year with the heart transplant and having to fire his own sons. He may want out, I can understand if he does. I just hope he sells it to someone who will do as good a job as he has done.

    If this theory is correct then if Fox goes look for Meeks to take over.

    The same could be said for Oakland, and he'd have a lot better chance of unseating Tom Cable than Tom Coughlin.
