Rake, it will be Jake's job to lose. If it is truly official that Fox is coming back for 2010, then dammit we'll be having the same old WTF Jake discussions next year too...

Jake's job to lose? Really? Hasn't he lost it all ready? Can you even name another team that would sign him?

Do you really believe Jake has lost his job for good? Seriously.

And btw, where in the world did you get that I said someone else would sign Jake? Nobody in their right mind would give us an empty water cooler for that turnover machine.

Any yes I do...I don't think Jake will be back. If Fox or Hurney push for that..that will surely get them canned. They will NOT go through this again...will they?

Unless it was the ownership that was pressuring to keep Delhomme playing.

That's what I'm afraid of. I mean, Jake's not really a star bringing in that much in Jersey sales, but they made a committment to him monetarily, and have to pay him. From a fiscal perspective, they'd rather win with Jake than some low salary guy.

Winning trumps everything though, with any coach. With the way Matt is playing, he's making his case.

Hurney staying is much more perplexing to me than Fox staying. Unless he was just doing what ownership wanted.

I'm sure that ownership had a hand in the situation with his contract.
I don't doubt that ownership would have an opinion on this either.
