    Might as well shut him down so he has more time to get healthy for next year......

    Maybe Duke Robinson gets some playing time this year yet..... Maybe even Schwartz gets to start a game at tackle.

    The Carolina Panthers announced they've put placed starting right tackle Jeff Otah on injured reserve with a knee injury and signed offensive lineman Rob Petitti. Otah injured his knee on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Otah was a first-round draft choice by the Panthers last year and had started every game at right tackle this season.
    The injury isn't believed to be serious, but was enough to where Otah would be sidelined for the next three games so the team decided
    Petitti was drafted in the seventh round of the 2005 draft by the Dallas Cowboys after playing collegiately at Pittsburgh. He has played with the New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Rams as well as the Cowboys in the NFL.
    Geoff Schwartz is expected to start at right tackle on Sunday night against Minnesota.
