It is time to pull the plug on Jake. Fox is losing his credibility by staying with him. How can anyone feel like they have to play well to keep their job when Jake still has one?

I'm not willing to put Jake's sucking this year on Fox. Sticking with him you can put on Fox, sure, but don't blame us being "run first."

Needing good quarterback play is nothing new, any style needs that. You can be run first, but not run only.

I would assume Jeff Davidson is calling the plays as OC. With Steve Smith and DeAngelo and this is the best we can do against a beatup defense he has to go. As far as QB, we know what we're getting with Delhomme, this season is lost put Moore in there and see if we need take a QB in rd 2 next year

I agree with Skull's post on page 2,,,, "it is what it is"... At this point, just leave Jake in, and let him go for the alltime NFL interception record.

Regardless, we've got to have a change before next season, and if that starts with firing Fox, then so be it. I'm done with Fox too, in my opinion Fox let Jake take him down too.

I just hope that (at this point) JR don't let Fox trade away no more draft picks, or make any longterm decisions involving this franchise whatsoever,,, because Fox needs to be gone.

Like someone else said, I agree our new coach will bring in his own QB candidates, because he would be an absolute fool to come into a new job and Jake is his only QB option. Look for us to get someone else, even if we have to trade for it. With that said, don't be surprised to see Jake still on roster next year for 2 reasons: 1) nobody else would take him, and 2) we just extended his contract, new coach may use Jake for something.

Can't believe we fell so far so fast,,,, we all believed we were very good just one year ago at 12-4, didn't we? Maybe we weren't.

Any changes like that would go on the GM, who really isn't taking enough shit in this thread.

Presidence99, agreed, our GM is getting a free ride for whatever reason. I just know JR needs to take another small select group out to his cabin once again, and THIS TIME, don't bring them all back.

The worst thing of all is that none of our best players will want to resign
with such a sorry ass ownership and coaching staff. Williams, Smith, Peppers
will never stick around after this. Smith is so pissed about how sorry this team
is showing up you can see it in his face on the side lines. Our Defense is average at best. And with no early round picks next year will suck again.

Thats why we have to make a trade or trade(s), to get some early draft picks. And like I said on another thread, I would hate to lose Smith, but he's the most logical choice, because he would bring us 2 (maybe 3) players or draft picks in return. IMO we MUST hang onto certain players, most notably the younger stars (Deangelo, Stew, Beason, TDavis, Otah), few others. Moose will probably retire, and we'll probably lose Peppers getting nothing in return, unless we can sign him to a sign/trade deal.

There is no way in hell I'd trade Smith. I'd trade Stewart before I'd trade Smith. So you'd bring in a new QB and tell him Jarrett and Moore are his primary receivers?

    Let see...

    Blame Fox
    Blame the DC
    Blame the OF
    Blame the GM

Think this does it. I forgive Jake and the other players. These guys put them in there. Change these and the rest will be worked out. Or :bong_hit::drink:or both.
