Only Sanchez has a lower QB rating of last weeks starters, and he's a rookie. Now that Russell has been benched, Jake may be the worst, least accurate starter now.

Put any of those guys in the top 15 on a team with a strong running game and a wide out like Smith and they will get it done.

We know, you've said this in every thread the past few weeks.

How they get one and convincing the staff is the complicated part.

I have come to the conclusion regardless of what happens, we are basically effed this year and many to come if JD is our QB.

I can't believe Carson Palmer is sitting at 87.2. That being said, I'd trade whatever farm we have left for him in a heartbeat.

To put this in clearer perspective:

    Jake Delhomme QB rating:

    2008 84.7
2007 111.8 - only played two and a half games..
2006 82.6 - OL hurt all year, Keyshawn debacle
    2005 88.1
    2004 87.3
    2003 80.60

He is at 66.0 right now for the year. The Jake we are getting this year is much worse than the Jake we have ever gotten in the past. He has no excuse because the OL and running game have been solid. Losing Gross hurt but he was sucking before that.

Bump his QB rating by 20 points and we are at least three games better, the Saints probably one game worse.
