I keep watching Tebow and think he would be a great fit for us.

He will probably be available in the 2nd round.

He is a great game manager. With our running game, Tebow doesn't have to be a game breaker, but someone who can make the throws when necessary.

He needs to learn to work under center, but he is a great athlete.

He is accurate enough to win ball game after ball game

terrible. He's a lefty QB, so Otah's his blind side.
His best is that he runs the option, he puts his head down, and he scores. Name a QB that does that in this league.

I'm not going to say he won't be an effective QB, but there would have to be some development there and I'm not sure that can happen given his popularity and probably draft status.

The ideal QB for our offense is a guy who has a big arm and can stretch the defense deep. That keeps them from stacking up against the run. Aikman was the master of that in Dallas. Teams could not just load up to stop Emmitt because Aikman would burn them deep.

A guy who can run would be nice so we could run the wildcat and stuff but for long term success we need a guy who can make the deep throws and be smart with the football. I am not sure Tebow can ever be that guy. He is intriguing though.

No fucking way Tebow is around in the 2nd round. Whether or not he's a QB in the NFL remains to be seen, but he'll be a 1st round pick because he's a proven winner who has shown he knows how to win at every level so far. Some team sees that and takes him early.
What I really find interesting is the same guys on this board who talk about Jake, and value all of his intangibles despite his mechanics, as a top NFL QB, are all down on Tebow. Tebow is exactly what you guys claim Jake to be.....you should love him.
