In fairness to Cutler, he does not have much to work with as far as receivers. Olson is about it. He should still be better than he is given what the Bears gave up to acquire him. He is missing Brandon Marshall.....

Forte isn't exactly lighting up defenses either. Makes it harder on the qb.

I still think he is a hell of a QB, and if you wouldn't take him over Delhomme, hook me up with your dealer. He has NOTHING around him for talent, and his OC (Ron Turner) shouldn't be in football at all. You put him on this team, and I guarantee he makes multiple pro bowls. The only thing I would agree with is that his personality leaves something to be desired.

I do not understand why the Bears did not find him at least one solid target to work with. When defensive back turned WR is your top guy you have problems.

I am not sure Cutler would have worked here though. Smitty would sucker punch his whinny ass....

    He's a better player.
Is he worth ruining team morale for?
Is he worth two first round picks?
Not the player I saw, no.

Guy has 11 interceptions in 12 quarters of prime time football.

I think I remember some draft threads where I said Cutler reminded me of Jake, only younger, better athlete, better arm. Looks like all I missed on was the Jeff George attitude.

Cutler has time to turn this around, and he's shown that he has great talent and can make plays. So did Jeff George though.

Except for the "fiery" part. I don't remember him being this surly at Vandy.

other than the Elway comment I'm not sure he really showed himself being this much of a douchebag until this year.
