It sucks. So many great drives, so many thrilling victories. I think since about the first time since the '03 opener, I had no faith that Delhomme would get it done last week. He may have, if not for the fumble, but I had lost faith.

Good news, it still ain't over.

Another thing about this thread - I really don't want a new coach. Just a qb. May be harder to find a qb.

They haven't stopped fighting for him. He's still got them.
Davidson has gotten a good deal on getting the talent but you can't deny he's developed it. Meeks has been oddly aggressive and innovative. I think we have solid assistants. Only assistant hire I didn't like was Milus.

So, I guess it's fire Crossman and Delhomme next year. 21 of 22?

Yeah, and here's where I don't think they are being fair to Jake....live by the sword, die by the sword....let him try to find that shit again if he has it in him.

20 of 22....we gotta get somebody opposite Smitty that at least makes the other D's think. Jarrett is horrible, Moose is old and the jury is still out on Moore.

I'm not either. Him not being under a Jake deep ball doesn't mean he's slow.
But, there's also whether Jarrett's that guy next year.

He'll be 37 years old in 2010 season.....at 37 everybody has lost a step. He's not now and definitely not a deep threat next season.
