Running the ball well and keeping Brees on the sidelines will be important. Our pass D played well against the Cards, hopefully it can keep it up. Peppers has been on a tear lately and will need to do it some more.

    Limit the throws Jake makes......

How big would it be for our season to beat the Saints? We would still need a lot of help to win the division but beating two solid playoff caliber teams in a row would be huge for us.

Running the ball well and not getting into 3rd and long will be huge. on D we need to keep Brees on the sidelines. When ever the Saints has the ball.We must first stop the run. Also we need to blitz brees put a spy on him. Even though our pass D played well against the Cards. The last thing that we can do is stay back and let Brees have time to find someone open. I understand that the Saints are very good team might be 7-0 when we face them on sunday. But maybe it just me but i have a feeling that we can beat the Saints. We just got to play Carolina Panthers football .Play good D and run the ball and we will be 4-4

I'm worried about the running game with Hoover out and Fiametta with a concussion. Does anyone have Goings number?

We need to keep getting explosive plays in the running game. Limit their big plays by forcing Brees to keep it short all game and tackle them to stop YAC, make TOP work against them.
Special teams will be critical, I don't want Bush to get any opportunities.

they're really good right now and maybe only pats and colts have the skill to best them in a shootout. miami had them, dead to rights, but got careless and couldn't hold it. their defense is playing better, but it's not stout. it is opportunistic though and is taking full advantage of the table that the offense is setting for them...play loose and with the benefit a big lead.

we can't beat them if that's how it goes. it's cliche, but we have to make them play our way, like yesterday.

i don't know that we get it done. don't think for a minute that they aren't going to be ready for us. we swept them last year, and have been taking them to the woodshed pretty regularly lately.

    no turnovers.

This. To start. Another strong defensive performance on our part wouldn't hurt.

We beat them twice last year. Same offense, and we controlled them for 7 quarters.

I know they look strong this year but they are due for a loss, especially if they beat Atlanta tonight. We have had their number in the past too. I wish our passing game were a little better but since it is not we will have to run the ball well to have any chance.

Apart from the one pass to Smith for the TD we did almost nothing in the passing game against the Cards. We will probably need more than that to beat the Saints.

Jake made a great throw on 3rd and 7 to Dwayne Jarrett on the first drive to pick up a huge 1st down. The reason we did nothing on the passing game was because we did not need to .I have a feeling that on Sunday the Saints will put 8 man in the Box and will try to make us beat them with the Pass.If the O-Line can give Jake enough Time to find someone open we can beat the Saints with the pass
