either you meant that Peppers had one good game, or the defense had one good game and Peppers is the only realistic motivating factor. You really need not attempt to discern.

In realistic truth, Peppers has been one of our best three defenders. The other two are linebackers. In the meantime, he's had a sack per game which is pretty fucking solid.

Yeah, those "other two linebackers" you mention have been playing harder and more consistently than peppers. IMO Beason is more valuable to the team and is more deserving of making peppers-like money than peppers. Beason is the teams defensive leader . .. peppers is the teams gifted underachiever.
When Beason and Peppers switch salaries OR Peppers plays every down like Beason then maybe I'll stop bashing peppers

 

Not sure Jake deserves a game ball, I mean - he had an okay first quarter for passing . . but I wouldn't be thinking he is over his issues without a completion in the 2nd half

This may sound crazy, but I'm still hoping the Saints beat Atlanta tonight. I'd rather play them being undefeated next week, than pissed off after their 1st loss and looking to take it out on us. Maybe we can surprise them.

But I doubt it.

 

If we stand any mathematical longshot of getting into playoffs it's as a wild card, so we need atl knocked down a peg, as they seem less likely to win the division (imo ) than new orleans does. I'll be pulling for the saints.
