Jake is now worse than anyone imagined. He's way below mediocre now...he's a liability. It took this team 8 years to find a QB, and they evidently didn't learn anything from that search is what really chaps my ass. They put all their eggs in Jake's basket, when plenty of people were saying Jake wasn't the future. Stats are funny things, looked at from any angle, they can show almost anything you want them to. I hate to see Jake go out this way, because I like the guy. I have always wished he was a better physical talent than he is. But at some point, you have to look past the hype....and our coaching staff refused to. That's what sucks for Panther fans......unless we find some trade/draft miracle, we don't have much chance to get even a middle tier QB in the next few years.

the stats that matter are that we've won a lot more than we've lost with him.

until oakland last year, i felt that we hadn't been winning in spite of him.

he made the pro bowl with moose, keary colbert and nick goings as his "WEAPONS."

people called for david carr and after that we wished for vinny testaverde to stay unretired because a number one overall pick wasn't nearly as good as our undrafted qb to the point that people on the team hated that gloved fag.

    now jake is THAT bad.

    he wasn't that bad then.

Listening to one of Jake's interviews, he truly sounds like a great guy. I would like to see him leave with dignity too, but he surely knows he's in a business that if your not producing, they will replace you. His consolation if/when he ever gets replaced, is he has a lot of good memories in Charlotte.

Btw, I ain't ever said he was this bad, but he's always had flaws. Right now I believe he has confidence issues, and his age and post-surgery aren't helping.

    Last 7 games:

    5 Td's, 18 Int's, 2 Fumbles lost. 20 turnovers in 7 games. 5 Td's.

I just don't know how Moore could be worse.

I'm not going to tear apart Jake going to the ProBowl, because HONESTLY I'm glad he made it. I also know that we've been to a Super Bowl and the NFC Championship game with Jake. But just as I can admit Jake don't deserve all the blame that he gets,,,,,, I also know he don't deserve all the credit for the good times too.

We HAVE HAD some pretty good OTHER players on this team over the years too that had something to do with our successes, and our failures.
