this. Just in case anyone forgot, GH got around to being right after only a few years, pretending he's always been a 2 INT, 65 yard a game passer.

It hurts when the curtain is lifted on your great Oz, and it comes to light that he's never been more than a mediocre NFL QB, huh?

No he hasn't....but he's never been great. He's always been a middle tier QB at best, who had a few shining moments.

He has gotten worse, but I don't think it's due to his elbow surgery, IMHO. I believe he's been exposed and his confidence level has been shaken, as well as the confidence level his team has in him. In any sport when you believe you are the man and others around you believe you are the man, your play is elevated, and you play better than your ability, it seems. I just believe his confidence started eroding and our coaches did a shitty job of stopping the erosion and now his strongest attribute, his confidence, is beat all to hell.

I'm sure his confidence is shaken, but his accuracy has nose dived, and I think that is tied directly to the surgery.

To Y2's point, Kirwan and Miller both have been killing our WR play this week on Sirius. Smitty's not beating the cloud coverage as he has in the past, we don't have a speed reciever to make them pay, Moose should be our #3, and Jarrett sucks. All stuff we know, but they confirm from looking at the tape this week.

Passion and confidence are not equal. If you can have one without the other, they can't be equal.

    Your paraphrasing = FAIL.

things like this are why you happened to get lucky enough to watch a guy who you thought was "terrible" in a Pro Bowl year actually get as bad as you've said he was, but you can't just let it go and have people think you've got a clue.
