Turn off Faux News for once. It's all about business.
Because you and another 43% of the US loves him, that means 57% of the US HATES him.
Not exactly a great business plan.

From the paper that supposedly started it all:

    Editor's Note
    Saturday, Oct. 17 2009
A quote in Bryan Burwell's column Oct. 7 attributed to Rush Limbaugh about the
merits of slavery in the United States cannot be verified, and its use did not
meet the Post-Dispatch's standards for sourcing.

Limbaugh said he did not make the statement.

Burwell's column did not identify the source of the quote, which was Jack
Huberman's 2006 book "101 People Who Are Really Screwing America." The book
provided no details about the origin of the quote. When contacted by the
Post-Dispatch, Huberman said that he had a source for the quote but declined to
reveal it on advice of counsel. The book's publisher, Nation Books, did not
    return calls to the Post-Dispatch.

The Post-Dispatch found references attributing the quote to Limbaugh in other
publications and on Internet blogs as far back as 1993, but none of those cited a source.

What a load of shit...Limbaugh isn't "conservative", he's a controversy-causing bullshit-spewing divisive egomaniac who, if part of the NFL, would spend most of his time trying to draw attention to himself and distract from football.

You want "conservative"...NFL owners are conservative. They don't want anything getting in the way of the money conveyor to their bank accounts, and they know damn well that Limbaugh would affect that money conveyor like an intestinal blockage affects shit.

Nah...he'd bitch about how all those "Negroes" on his sorry-ass team were politically correct losers, and that they needed a good dose of slavery to put them back in their places.
