How much would it cost to paint a 3,000 two story exterior? Masonite has been repaired. Just paint and trim.

I say ballpark of $5000.00 and that's starting on the low end. I had an estimate on a house I was looking at last year. About the same size, two story and the first estimate was 5,000 with only one coat.

    Thats close

But in this market. You can find better. Just be aware of scammers. Ask people you know, get a few qoutes, no friend stuff and check insurance. Not just gen lib but workercomp. Be sure that contact spells out what is to happen. And unless you are sure in your mind. Let them buy the materials and be sure that they are what you want. There is a big differance in paints. Good luck.

Shoot, I'd just have some vinyl siding slapped on it. I know, classless.

I would also check on the lawsuit filed on the masonite manufacturer and see if you qualify for any money to help with these costs.Don't know what your timeframe is.Bu it is worth A shot, and could make A difference on deciding to just go with vinyl. But find A company with references and good insurance. Best way is. Meet them where they purchase their paint and choose your color. Pay for it.Allow A minimum to the contractor for other materials.Pay when completed.
