of course he didn't. he didnt throw moose under the bus in atlanta several years ago. didnt throw key under the bus after the cincy and philly games. and he certainly wasnt goint to throw steve under the bus tonight.

what will be interesting...will steve fall on the sword for him QB?

    it is kinda heartbreaking.

Either way, not like the balls he threw on the 2 INTs were great. Underthrown deep ball, in double coverage, and then what would've been a slant that would've been contested. Forced some balls to TEs that could've been first downs but weren't open.

I can give him a pass but at some point you have to bring positives, and this year we've had like three or four good drives.

We were good for one drive tonight, and Jake's part of that.

I don't think anyone's giving him a pass. Better efforts make those two INTs incompletes, but what we need is completions.

Fewer 2nd and 20s would help too.

We were just whooped on offense tonight.

No doubt. But the reality is that we had a chance to drive down the field and take the lead. The pick-six took that away. an incomplete allows us to run another play on 3rd down.

That was a quick slant. He was throwing it. Smitty broke it off. Nothing Jake could do. You saw his OMFG! reaction during the play.

Yeah there's no real way to pin that last pick-six on Jake, as bad as it looked. Hell, you could argue that with the first INT if Moose had given a half-assed effort that's usually an incomplete.

Jake's receivers gave up on him tonight.

Oh, I know. Steve stays with the route and it is probably just an incomplete.
