You and Vito lost me on the American flag as having great power and of course holding power we are will to give them...speaking also of the pentagram, penticles, etc.

Having said that I do feel that a confederate flag would influence the psyche in a negative way but not to the degree of a pentagram/pentacle.

My reasoning is by experience. Some years ago I had in my living room 3 deputies from the sheriffs department and we discussing current events. The topic of satan worship came up and in the county I lived in there was a lot of cult worship going on. It never was mentioned in the local newpaper of how a young girl had died. She was found naked on the banks of a lake and she had her blood drained from her body. She had been sacrificed. Saying this I would say that the pentagram greatly influenced those that murdered this young girl.

in other words, no you wont answer questions about your posts.

Who needs 3 or 4 paragraphs. I dont believe in God, Satan or any supernatural power. I don't have any beliefs about athiests or agnostics...their choice to believe what they want is just that, theirs.

The pentagram is merely a symbol that many people suggest has mystical powers, but really started out at an ancient Sumerian hyroglyph and is basically harmless.

Was a pentagram used in the sacrifice? The pentagram had no influence in the murder. The deranged mind of an individual or individuals however did. How do you know that it was not Bram Stoker's Dracula or maybe Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles? No I know it was the Necronomicon......No wait it was ??? It could have been anything that influenced the way the death happened. To blame it on a pentagram is just plain out ignorant. Sacrafices were done by more than just Pagans back in ancient times.

"Another instance of human sacrifice mentioned in the Bible is the sacrifice of Jephthah's daughter in Judges chapter 11. Jephthah vows to sacrifice to God whatsoever comes to greet him at the door when he returns home if he is victorious. The vow is stated in Judges 11:31"

"Jesus shocked his followers as recorded in John 6:51-56: I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world. "How can his man give us his flesh to eat?"."

"That is a question that mankind has wrestled with for centuries. If it was acceptable for Abraham to offer to sacrifice his only son as a burnt offering to God, then how can we possibly denigrate other religions for indulging in same practice?"

I've said it before and I'll say it again: It isn't Satan who demands blood sacrifice; it's God.

God required no more blood sacrifice after christ shed His Blood on the Cross. Christ was our sacrificial Lamb.

I speak only for myself. I have peers and fellow seekers who for the most part share my way of thinking, but the aforementioned rambling buffoons exist as well. Not much I can do about them; general craziness and unreason seem to be a bigger epidemic than swine flu these days.
