    FWIW - I haven't seen QB play as bad as Jake's since Jeff Lewis's swan song in the preseason vs. baltimore.

    Has anyone else?

    One game doesn't make the player, you've already gotten more out of Long than the other rumored options gave their team (howie's son and Vernon 'no instincts' gholston)

    You're right, I'm just pissed off at watching him give up 2 or 3 sacks and generally get beaten all game. I'm sure you can relate.

    I don't know of any QB that has imploded in 2 games back to back like Delhomme did. It was beyond painful to watch the last 2 games Delhomme has played. I thought that Arizona was just a really bad game and he would return to form, but after back to back games almost 8 months apart, then you know the guy is done. He's damaged goods. Anyone else in a real job would be fired after the first complete meltdown, but Jake has had 2 back to back. No excuse for it.

    "more bad decisions by delhomme" is right. Even back then the main problem was not his arm but his brain. Now it's even worse because he's virtually armless AND brainless



    poor bastard . .. he must feel like giving back the money and heading to his stables right about now
