I would probably go ultra conservative on offense and just hand off 50 times. If I had Jake throw it, it would be a deep ball to Smith that worked like a punt if it is picked off. That may not be a superbowl formula but it would probably win some games.

Clearly the O-line was horrible today, but I think Jake is forcing it and his comments about the fans not being too bad this off season are bogus IMO. I think it is in his head.

Mangus and Pantherpaul keep saying this in ONE game..its actually two games with an entire off season to get things together in between them. Everyone is panicing because we were expecting the game against Arizona to be a fluke for Jake..but aparently it isn't. You can say the OL has some blame..and they do..but that has nothing to do with Jake's poor decision making. He holds the ball too long and eveyone in the league knows that he tries to force the ball to Smitty way too much. He has become way too easy to defense. I think that if we can get a QB that can settle things down for us and minimize mistakes...we will be ok. I don't know if that is in Jake's personality to not be a gunslinger. He has truly become a liablity for us.

I didn't say it's one game, unless I'm imagining something else. Sorry about that, but if you need some straw men to worry about I'm sure there's more than one to knock down on our roster.

Dude...people been calling Jake's play out for longer than 1 game. We screwed the pooch by not looking for an option because Jake was their man. Now we look stupid with possibly the best RB combo in the league, potentially the best reciever in the league and a guy who is "good enough", but not good enough to free up the RBs or consistently get the ball to the WR. Jake is mediocre and has been for some time. We should have looked to shore up the QB spot, if nothing else, for the future....now we don't even have a viable future QB.

Garcia, Feeley, Walter, Brohm, Greise in that order Harrington and Frerotte are done, greise is on the edge of being done.

The O- Line looked good early opening lanes

Eagles adjusted and all but stopped the run.

    Jackson's return for a TD
Defense blitz Jake a for a TD .

Panthers are now in a passing offense ,Bombs to MOOSE

Eagles switched to a very aggresive pass rush with blitz.

Placing the ball in Jakes hand to win does not work NOW

    Seasons ago , Maybe !

reactionary? I've supported Jake before today. You have to know when to cut your loses and, to me, after the last 2 games and the 4 preseason games, Jake has proven he is now unable to get us where we want to go. You're right that qb's don't grow on trees, but I'm not expecting to go out and sign Brady or Manning this week. I think Moore or Garcia can't do any worse and probably could do better.
