The Panthers first team didn't score or effectively move the ball....in fact they've hardly scored at all this preaseason.

Pretty unimpressive preseason. How that works out when the real thing starts next weekend, who knows. I will say I have some serious doubts as to how well this season will turn out. The last time the company line was how many starters they had back things went south in a big way.

I do hope they keep Cantwell around somehow though. Kid looks like he has a great arm.

I liked "more relaxed now that the player that got most upset over losing is gone"

i think we'll be fine against the mediocre teams. barring catastrophe though, i don't see us beating the top teams. too bad we don't get more of the former this year. trying to be optimistic, so 9-7, 4-2 in the south. don't think that gets us in the playoffs though.

    well against mediocre teams..

Just where on our schedule do you see a mediocre team? We play the AFC & NFC East..NFC South as usual for 6 of the games.. Also since we won the division, we play a game against the divisional winners in the NFC North & West which is Minn. & Ariz. Those 2 games random like I said are determined by where you finish in the division which is why we have the 2nd toughest schedule. The only team that wasn't .500 last year was Buffalo and they were 7-9 and last I checked they picked up a few decent players. One in particular at WR tends to hold up pretty good for the 1st year. But I reserve judgement to determine that we will be bad due to losing all 4 preseason games. I guess Detroit Lions felt as if they would be awesome last year after going 4-0 in the preseason.

I don't worry about teams with no OL that just fired their offensive coordinator.
