    I'm not thrilled that we're hiring a college guy to do a pro job, and does anybody really believe we would have considered him had he not been at Wofford? Child please.

    But I don't really give a shit because it's always been a figurehead position. It would have been nice to have an actual football guy, but most teams don't.

    he's a football guy, just not a pro football guy.
    For that type guy to be out there, you'd need an old GM who doesn't suck. And I can't think of many guys. Either way, it was going to be a guy that JR knew and was comfortable with.
