Are you trying to see how many different forums you can start a thread bitching about deer in?

I had to go there to get some things for the boat. I'll have to look at Lowe's. So far putting out those aluminum pie pans seem to be working. I see some maters turning so i hope i can get em harvest before the deer strike again.

Lowe's should be a lot cheaper.

Not to get off topic, but I need some mosquito netting to cover my fig tree(to keep the birds away; it's lightweight). Anybody seen any at (e.g.) Lowes, etc.?
Granger Mt. probably has it but their prices are outrageous.

yeah they had that stuff at tru value hardware so i'm pretty sure that Lowe's will have it. Actually, i am pretty sure i saw it at lowe's at the beginning of the season went i spent almost every day there.

you know, after i put those pie pans up, i didn't have any deer problems anymore.

I had a herd of deer come through this way the other night. There's gonna be a lot of car wrecks this fall! I was in my garden pickin beans the other evening and i looked up to see all these deer staring at me. I counted 11 but some were already going into the woods before i realized the were even there so i know it was more than 11.

Pie pans work wonders at keeping elephants out of your garden as well.
