    I think too high. He deserves a spot on the list, but he was too high, as was Bobby Bowden.

    too high as in he isn't the 8th best coach of all sports of all time. I think the Dean definitely deserves to be in there, but not quite ranked that high. The list was obviously based more on higher profile than accomplishment, so I can see where he would be listed that high. I've always felt K and Bobby K were as good or better than the Dean, and tarhole fans can shove their whining up their ass because I hate Duke too. JoePa is also ranked way too high simply because of profile. Hell, its a stupid list, but the whiny nature of the Tarheel fan is front and center in the comments section. I used to hate just Duke...then I moved down south and hate UNC just as much almost solely because of their fans. rant over.

    I like how Caulton Tudor wrote a whole article about this stupid list and didn't even mention who the #1 coach was. Great reporting as always.

    Dean shouldn't be #8. He should be #1. (I grew up in a household where only God was above Dean and even then he was a close second.)

    Don't care whether Roy is on the list or not. Proud of what he's done at Carolina. Looking forward to this year - from what I've heard, these kids are going to be fun to watch.

    Not sure about #1, not out of all coaches. He didn't win enough championships with the all that talent as he should, IMHO.
