    Those experienced back-ups were not very good. Do you not remember how many times DeAngelo and Stewart were contacted behind the line, but still mananged to make a play? Otah is the only guy who stood out as an grading run blocker. The rest were just adequate pass blockers, except for Vincent, who sometimes seemed to have no idea who to block.

    Other than Khalif Barnes (who has his limitations) and Loper (who i know little to nothing about) there weren't many guys out there that weren't age/injury liabilities, which is why our former backups got overpaid to go somewhere else.

    a lot of panther fans on the board should just one year get the NFL ticket and watch some other games instead of just seeing the hi-lites of other teams... Panthers played some really good fucking football last year. The Panthers remind me a little of how the Eagles were going into to that little run they had @ 2000-2004

    Except we've never had consecutive winning seasons, which is pretty embarrassing.

    atlanta has never had it, in their 40-whatever year history.

    and no on the eagles comparison. don't see it for a multitude of reasons...some good, some bad.
