I still think Lewis and Kemo were good enough last year until they wore down because the depth of the rotation was depleted. Irvin should help that out. I still think we need to add another DT who can get substantial snaps as part of the rotation.

I am good with the OL. If Gross goes down we move Wharton back to LT, if Wharton goes down we bring in Robinson, if Vincent goes down we bring in Robinson, if Otah goes down we either bring in Schwartz or slide Gross back to RT and Wharton to LT. I am not sure who will be the back up center though now that Hangartner is gone. It might not have been a bad idea to hang on to him....

I bet they would just move wharton to RT, that way we are only moving one guy and changing 2 starters instead of 3.

The fact that we signed that FA OT from Penn St. makes me feel a bit better. He was projected third round, but fell like a rock. He and the other "finesse" blockers all did. It did sound like, he could do some decent pass blocking for us though, and that he's smart. I'd still like to resign Bridges for minimum.

As for DL, signing Tripplett or Robertson would be good. I think Robertson started well early in his career when he was asked to shoot gaps. They made him a NT after that, and he went downhill.

And yes, the fact that Wharton is really our ultimate backup at LT is also reassuring. I was cringing at the thought of Swartz or an UDFA there, or the guy we played at C last year. I'm taking a while to get back into the swing of things.
