    All the sudden, everyone has to have one...I guess portability trumps computing power...

    I have an ASUS 1000H. Love it. Battery lasts slightly less than advertised, about 7.5 hours, but it is still great. Totally portable and functional once you upgrade the memory to 2GB.

    Just bought a couple of HP2140's to use for overseas travel. Pretty cool.

    I'm intrigued by them a little, but don't see ever purchasing one. The first time I'd be out somewhere and want to do some heavy duty computing, I'd probably get mad and throw it out the window.

    I will say this much though, I could go for the smaller form factor. I sometimes get tired of lugging around a 15" laptop everywhere.

    Word has it Google will have their own line of netbooks with their own OS on it. The OS will be based off the Chrome browser...
