Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports that the Chicago Bears have sent two first-round picks, a third-round pick, and quarterback Kyle Orton to the Broncos for quarterback Jay Cutler[IMG] and a fifth-round draft pick.
The Bears held the 18th pick in the first round of the draft.
Per NFLPA records, Orton is signed through 2009, at a base salary of $995,000.

That's a LOT to give up for one moody quarterback.
Now maybe Denver can try to appease their angry fan base by acquiring a certain Pro Bowl Defensive End !!

We can only hope that Peppers changes his mind to include Denver on his team "wish list".

How stupid are the Bears looking? I guess they are in a hurry to get a Championship before their defenses ages like the Bucs' did. I'm sure in their mind, they feel they are a franchise QB away from such a run even though most people have recognized the Bear's D has already slipped from their apex a few year's ago.

Nah, they got the lights off, pillow over the head, doggie style treatment with an 'accidental' slip in the 2 hole without so much as a hint of lube.

He's a pro bowl QB in his prime. This is the price.
