    I believe it's a big deal, others not as much. I think it's important you put your team before yourself, work hard, and not be divisive. Anything else is a bonus. While it hurts longevity, you don't have to have a boy scout.

    From peter king:I heard one other interesting thing Sunday: Cutler asked for a trade shortly after the Broncos lost offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates -- Cutler's confidant -- to USC after the season. So maybe both sides need to go into marriage counseling here.

    it's weird to ask for a trade and then be shocked and angered by them trying to trade you.

    And, of course, Cutler is fucking himself out of money and trade value if he thinks being a little nutty is going to show the stability and maturity a new team would expect to have if they're going to build around him.
