Tampering chargers,Florio rips Peppers!!!

Last tampering charge that got through was a 5th round pick being stripped, really not that much.

 

Or it could simply mean there are 4 places he would like to play.

Either way, I don't think the Panthers gain anything from filing tampering against a team they want to make a deal with. just my opinion

 

Hard for me to see him trying to get a deal with an NFC south team unless it was just a way to funnel him to another team that he really wants to go to. There is no way we would trade him to a division rival. I would bet that the AFC team is the Dolphins.

 

But would you look at it differently if Pep had no firm intent to leave until other teams said they'd sign him? What if he was not completely happy here, but not miserable. Then a team he likes tempts him with the promise that he'd be Superman in a 3-4 - something he may have thought about casually. His saying he didn't decide to leave until after the last game is weird to me. So he was fine all season or at least okay but then we lose badly to Arizona and he can't stand to be here one minute longer? That along with the "four teams" might put a bit more credence to tampering.
