    Yeah, I wouldn't be too suprised to see Jones pulling some crazy trades to get the draft picks to get Peppers.

    Peppers has tempting potential, and at least a few owners/coaches will want to stroke their egos and think they can make the most of Peppers.

    I remember Pacman interviewing Peppers at the combine right before we drafted him. He asked what team he hoped drafted him, and Peppers said the Eagles. When asked why, he said because his namesake, Dr. J., played in Philly.

    That's pretty deep.

    Just remembered that the Skins got Taylor last year, bah. Still, I have to think if one team shows interest, the other will not be able to ignore it and could come in if for no other reason than to drive up the price.

    Btw, I have been trying to find Peppers Wonderlic score, anyone remember?

    And Dr J played for the Virginia Squires before the sixers, and Dr Pepper was named for a Virginia doctor, so maybe he wants to be a Redskin?

    peppers and his agent are idiots . . . if the panthers front office also does not do something idiotic I would be surprised.
    I don't think the Eagles would be willing to deal a 1st and an anything for Peppers . . . they tend to make smart personnel decisions and their D is just fine without that assbag. They need a couple of "gifted athletes" on the other side of the ball to give McNabb some playmakers.

    I wonder who the lucky AFC team is because I'm not seeing an NFC team dumb (and rich) enough to pay the price . . .

    Has anyone heard what the rumoured AFC team is? I thought I read Cleveland was the team. Maybe D. Anderson and their 1st?
