I need a shutter repair on my Rebel XTI

    Where can I go to get a new shutter for my Rebel XTI 10 MP ? I was changing lenses at a football game, someone dropped a bag of peanuts and some fell in behind the mirror. While digging them out in 20 degree weather, I touched the plastic strip behind the mirror and it cracked. Someone said i need a new shutter. Anywhere from Charlotte, to Hickory would be great.

    Man, that sucks. I dropped my XTi while changing lenses up in Alaska. Fell from about waist high onto an asphalt sidewalk. Amazingly, the only thing broken was the CF eject button.

    I think anywhere locally would just have to send it off to Canon, so I think you'd be better off sending it to them directly. Could be wrong about that though.
