I'd would be a nice story if Zona could do it. However, Pitt's defense, I don't think they have allowed 300 yards all year.

Warner may get that himself, but probably not without some turnovers.

One chance Zona has is if Ward can't go very well and Pitt can't get the running game going. Zona's D has played well in spurts, and is aggressive. I can see them stopping the Pitt Run game (which hasn't been all that this year), and then it becomes a question of Big Ben beating the pressure, like he has done all playoffs.

Pitt gets at least two more turnovers than Zona. A late pick and score seals it, Pitt 31, Zona 17.

nerves may come into play here, if that is the case, Steelers hold a huge edge.

but the Cards have beaten credible defensive teams this post season. in the NFCCG, they devised a scheme to beat the Eagles pass rush with well designed quick hitters and blitz pick-up. Warner worked it to perfection. he has the skill position players to make this happen. coach W is very familiar with the Steelers. he surely has part of him that wants to send a message about being passed over for the HC job there as well. good story.

IF.....the Steelers can move the ball effectively, they can offset the Cards hot hand.....and i see that happening.

i wonder how either team would react if they were to find themselves down by two or three scores early?

    Steelers 30
    Cards 24

Arizona's offense can score on anyone but I think Pittsburgh will lay some wood to the Cards' WRs, and Warner too, and am inclined to say they win.

But then I have been thinking about Hartwig, and Ben taking a million hits and not being all that quick. And the temperature might be a wild card, Zona is used to the warm weather and Steelers finished the last part of the year in the cold weather, could affect things if Zona can control the ball. So I wouldn't be too surprised if it went the other way.

All year I have worried about our offense. In this game that is not the case. Unless the OC calls 5 wide on 3rd & 1 or a qb run on 3rd & 6. Defense is the worry. I still believe the Steelers win.

    Steelers - 31
    Cardinals - 24

Hope they play to a scoreless tie or the building implodes.

The Steelers beat the Ravens into a quivering pile, literally. If Arizona doesn't have a huge half time lead they will never overcome the beat down they are going to get.

I haven't decided yet. Pittsburgh clearly has the much better defense but I don't like Big Ben giving Warner points.
