Trgovac to coach Green Bay DL

If all the talk of Fox getting into defensive meetings last season & this season are true .

This could be as simple as Trgovac had lost all confidense is his ability to be a DC .
If your boss keeps jumping in to help do your job.
And you don't have the balls to get it done yourself , or tell Boss to back off and let you do your job .

Then I can see EMOTIONS taking over
Confidense ,resentment,player respect,asst coaches respect

I don't feel Trgovac ever had the balls to tell Fox this is my defense !

 

The first time, last year, was a matter of helping get Beason up to speed. I don't know what or why there was a 'step-in' from Fox the second time. Then it comes down to whether a head coach should be involved when he thinks he should be.

But with to much involment ,players and Asst would be confussed at times as to whom to follow !

 

Interesting that the time when Fox took over defensive meetings this past season roughly coincided with the time that the defense started to struggle, yet Trgovac got all the blame. Personally I don't believe either coach was particularly at fault since I've stated my opinion that it was due to the schedule, but if you're going to blame someone for the late season decline then it seems like you'd have to blame Fox.
