    Apparently, he's interviewing for the 49ers OC job.

    That's not bizarre at all.

    I kinda figured he might try to go be a team president somewhere, where he could advise but not have to do day to day ops...but that's weird.

    That would be pretty wild for him to take a OC job. He would probably do a good job though.

    heard him on the radio mid to late season talking about how he expected to be working again next season not as a HC

    He was OC for the Cowboys for some years before he went to Denver as HC.

    being a de-facto GM for Jones is a good fit. He won't have the ability to keep Jones from doing something stupid, but he'll be able to add a little knowledge to the mix.

    Of course, eventually, Jones will force Reeves to make decisions he doesn't want to make so he can blame Reeves for the backlash, and will inevitably shame him and fire him.
