Andre Woodson is available right now for nothing at all. But a rookie is not the answer. If I felt like a change would actually happen, I'd use NFL Rewind to look at some of the league's backups who are entering free agency and evaluate who would fit well here.

Leftwich is FA and didn't do terrible when he played this year, I'd bring him in for a look.

We brought in Testaverde last year. Maybe Flutie is willing to come out of retirement, better yet, we could get Sage Rosenfels :punk:

Yeah, I wish we had, but I'm sure he would prefer to go somewhere that he had a chance at starting. Let's face it, as long as Jake is here, Fox is going to start him.

We've thought about it, so maybe we can stop now.

Stafford is OK, but he's not going to be worth what people will pay and won't be as good as he's drafted. I don't predict a collapse or a long but unfulfilling career, because I don't really think it matters if he's not your guy.

And no, we will not trade up most likely. They did their dealing and are more likely to sit and take that medicine now. I'll still be interested in the draft as usual and try to do as much work as usual on it, but might not be as rushed to be at the TV/computer every minute either.

I'm not so sure, if a vet was available, and was outperforming him. Remember, we said the same about Peete, and Jake beat him out. Leftwich might be a good fit here. Minn, Det, SF might be better possibilities, but not as good a situation.

We need a QB to throw deep, throw the smoke route, and through some intermediate routes. He wouldnt need to run a WCO here, unlike in Minn. Det will be drafting their future QB, and he would be a placeholder there. SF might be a possibility, but we have a better OL. He's immobile, and needs a good OL.

Sign Woodson now. Not as the answer, but just line up some guys that might be the answer in some years. We need to have a legit pipeline.

Well at some point we stopped running or certainly very little. But playing catch up you pretty much have to for the most part anyways.

    DW 12 c/att 63 yards
    JS 3 c/att 12 yards

As I posted in Thelt's thread, in the next 22 plays after our first drive we ran it 9 times and passed 13. That's an incredible commitment to the run when you consider that we were down 27-7 by the end of that stretch. Maybe we should not have passed the ball at all, since Jake Delhomme was Arizona's one and only chance to win.
