Jake was a Snake, but our defense is minor league

Jake sure had a bad game, no doubt about it, but the true problem lies with the defense. Arizona scored on FIVE STRAIGHT possessions and could have done more if they needed it. In doing so, the Panthers had to abandon the running game (their only strength) and the Cardinals knew it and made their adjustments. Jake probably wouldn't have had as bad a game if we were running #34 & #28 normally and not forcing passes into tight coverage out of desperation.

Here is the worst picture and you have seen it repeatedly. Our quarterback is always under pressure and throws into heavy coverage. The opponents quarterback is rarely under pressure and throws to receivers running around so open it looks like they are on the playground.

You don't get to the Super Bowl with that arrangement.

OMG, so Jake was under constant pressure and Kurt Warner had all the time in the world...

... thanks for clearing up why they looked like apples and oranges.

Jake sucked, like he has done before, bottomline.

I think the point was....our pass rush has been missing in action

I don't think Jake is a top qb with or without protection....

Delhomme was only sacked twice. The pass protection whiffed on a couple of stunts, but overall was not bad.

Agree. Jake cannot expect to have all day, and to have no one near him, against a quality D.

it's hard not to give up points when your QB gives the other team the ball on your side of the 50.

It's was a horrible game but when you see the offensive drives listed out it's just fucking maddening. Check out the number of plays in each drive. It's just fucking sad.

    It's Time

...... to shitcan Jake!! Any QB could lead this team. It's also time for Bill Cowher to come on down to Charlotte! The defense sucked, no blitzies. That is why Philly's D is so good, Blitzies! Warner can be rattled if you put pressure on him. When you don't change game plan, like dbl team Fitzgerald, it's time for coaching change! The talent is there, need better decision making.
