When asked again Sunday if ideally he wants to be back in Carolina, Peppers again was non-committal, saying, "Ideally I want to be in the best situation possible for myself and this organization. I'm thankful for everything theyve done for me and I don't want to leave them crippled or in a bad situation and I don't want to do that to myself either. So whatever works our best for both sides is what I'm comfortable with

Let him go.....he is over paid and cannot play the run. Just watch him....he rarely is double teamed anymore. We should have kept Jenkins!

"I want to win a Super Bowl," Peppers said. "That is the ultimate goal in this game. That is why we play. I want to be on a great team and be around great guys in a great organization. It's not about money. It's not about any of that kind of stuff. It's about being happy."

Can't blame him for that. That's the world of professional football. Those guys only get one chance to be the best they can be. Every career move they make is a gamble.

Yes, Jenkins would definitely give 100% to a team he wasn't happy with in a region he didn't like - for half a season at least. Plus whispers seem to imply there was a LOT of happiness in the lockerroom when he left and that it existed before he accused the team of having no heart. Granted he was pretty on target, but I don't see the other players wanting him back or him wanting to come back.

Would a sign and trade of Nnamdi Asomugha for Peppers not be a great trade for us?

Aso would want money to go with the trade, and that's a lot to invest in CB, especially without a good plan to fix DE.

There's no such thing as a "sign and trade" in the NFL. It isn't the NBA.

"I like our chances. The Line's are both doing a good job for the most part. Deangelo and Stewart are creating things and Jake at least this past week was playing like a pro bowl QB. John Beason is a stud and I think this team is playing with a bit of a chip on their shoulder from earlier in the year when they were getting smacked in the mouth early and the criticism was swarming about their lack of emotion."

No,this is the dumbest thing I have read in quiet some time....lol
