better teams generally get into the playoffs. I'd love to face Oakland and Detroit again but they weren't eligible. As it sits, we have a fair chance of playing a team again that we've already played, and in a lot of cases, have beaten. And at home, after rest. The teams from here are going to be pretty good, and it's pretty obvious but we have to be better.

I'd have just as soon not had Philly or Dallas to deal with. TB could not go to Minny and win, which would give us Minny at home. Which I'd probably rather have.

edit: but, if we can't stop anyone it really won't matter who we play.

Definitely an odd collapse. I have nothing against the Bucs and would have preferred them make it simply to brag about winning a division that had two wild cards and a record-setting QB.

Before this past week to Tampa, Oakland hadn't converted a third and ten or more since week 3.

Costas (ignorant dipshit) was the one that made the "ugly 9 - 3" remark.

Collingsworthless looked askance and begged to note that no 9 - 3 team could be ugly.

I can't stand him either, but let's not say he said something he didn't.

Costas also made the ignorant more recent remark that the reason we drafted Jonathan Stewart was because DeAngelo Williams had been a disappointment. Another manifestation of his Panther-ignorance.

We actually were an ugly 9-3 because we were coming off of a beating by Atlanta and three tight escapes against Green Bay, Detroit, and Oakland. And plenty of people on this board described the Stewart pick as being a result of disappointment in DeAngelo.

Yes, the reason advanced for the "ugly" remark was what you stated.

Yes, it is my opinion that a 9 - 3 team isn't ugly.

Yes, some on the board may have expressed disappointment in DeAngelo.

No, I don't know what they were smoking.
