New stadium + PSLs + Bad Economy = Panic at the Disco.

I don't think Lord Favre is coming back this time, particuarly if that shoulder is any way fucked up. So you have no QB, a roster full of overpaid vets, and not a lot of cap room. Not a good time to try and hock stadium seat licenses.

Looks like Mangini was hard to get along with, and his players didnt like him. Perhaps the rest of the FO and the ownership didnt like him either.

Kellen Clemens is good enough to start in the NFL. I don't know if he's developed enough to lead a playoff run in '09, as he could probably use another year of seasoning, but they have a guy who can be a solid starter for years. The problem is that an old roster can't afford to wait through a young passer's growing pains.

Mangenius is the only one of the fired coaches that will sniff a head coaching job interview this year I bet.

If Cleveland gets Pioli then I heard he'll make it a package deal and take New England's Off. coordinator to be head coach

I know there's a separate thread, but just keeping count, Shanahan makes 7 gone. Jauron keeps his job.

Read a story on ESPN that Cowher told the Jets he wasn't interested. Denver maybe?

I don't think he wants to coach any time soon.
