    We're pick # 61, right?

And philly gets our #29, right?

This makes it look like we're ahead of the giants, but i don't think that's how the draft will order. I think we're 61.

We gave up a lot for Otah, but it's not looking as bad of a trade now with us being down at the bottom of the rounds.

still does hurt to have needs that are generally blue-chip like DT, and wait until 60 men are off the board. Last year's a bad example, since I see four DTs coming off the board in two rounds, but we really would like to fill that first need before then. Especially since I don't see us cutting our starters - so we have to have someone young. We're not going to spend money there.

But yeah, the trade value itself looks better.

We may end up spending even more to get a higher 1st selection now.

I don't think we will. We're far more likely to stay put, or if there's not a lot at what we want, moving down a few spots into the very top of the 2nd day. There's nothing in our history that suggests we'd move up like that (then again, there wasn't anything suggesting we'd do what we did).

As long as we don't burn a 2 or 3 on a WR or LB, I'm OK. A 4 or later at LB would be nice, but those first two picks need to be beef.

Any decent DTs hitting the FA market? Other than Haynesworth, I'm guessing he'll be a little too pricey.

We don't have a lot of room to begin with, and I now suspect that we'll sign both Peppers and Gross, leaving us with almost nothing. Someone like Ronald Fields might be available, as he's probably better suited to a 4-3 than SF's 3-4. Also, I don't know about his conditioning but Marcus Tubbs would be worth a look just to find out how he's recovered from knee surgery.

If we're looking for a fatass to clog the line Gabe Watson is out there as a restricted.
