    I forgot about Sims. He's the only sure thing on defense for next year, and I guess you have some solid stop-gap type guys already under contract that you can keep around. Bodden is a decent corner, but you need more. I can't think of any Lions team that ever had a good group of cornerbacks.

    Cherilus needs to work on that pass blocking.

    As for keeping Marinelli, fuck no. I like him and he'll help someone as a position coach/asst head coach, but if you keep this guy after going 0-16 or 1-15, then good luck selling out your season opener next year.

    I agree. If they put together one hell of a scouting team and have an awesome draft a good coach could work wonders.
