All the before pictures are of the house when I viewed it. I think I bought it so that she would have to clean all her shit out. I felt bad for the house. I like a challenge.

bathroom: new bathtub, new moldings, tile surround, new flooring, paint, doors, and clean everything.

living room: new baseboards (looked like a chainsaw had been dragged across all of them), new paint, scrapped and repainted all window moulding, new front door too.

Next week, the hallway and possibly the dining room. Depends on the weather. If it's nice, I'm going outside.

It's a small house, room-wise. Even though it's almost 1800 sq ft, you'd never know it. Every room in the house is getting some work done. All new doors, the existing ones are nice, but I'm not wasting the time on scraping the paint. It's cheaper to buy new ones.

Very nice. The living room windows are beautiful and you didn't even notice them on the before. What made you keep the window in the shower?

The house is brick. If I had covered the window, I would have needed to do something to the exterior. That was my first reason. Second, without a window, the bathroom is extremely dark. During the day, it's a lot brighter even with the dark paint.

Thanks. Now I need window treatments. I don't want blinds because of the grids on the windows. I'm thinking roman shades, or just roller shades. No curtains, I don't like curtains on windows that don't touch the floor.

Def no curtains covering those windows. Are you going to put up crown moulding in the bath? What about those handles on the sink cabinet, replacing those?
