Browns fans getting anxious

They have started a website Cowher09.com where you can buy T-Shirts in a browns hat.

Wouldn't that make the Steelers fans happy if Cohwer went to Cleveland

 

He doesn't seem interested in coaching any time soon. It would make some sense from a personnel standpoint, but that franchise is a bit of a mess.

They were dumb as shit for extending Crennell after last year.

 

reading some Cleveland fans, fairly hilarious - talking about Cowher being such a need. But then they say how Savage has done a good job.

Then it's "oh yeah, except for the Anderson thing. And the Crennel extension. And yelling at the fans. Oh, and for never getting good linebackers while trying to run a 3-4."

so then they agree - no 3-4. And still want Cowher.

 

They could use a corner, too.

 

Why would Cowher want to coach the Browns ?

I guess there are positives. He was a player for them, and was a coach for them; he then moved to their rival and beat the shit out of them for a decade and a half.

The thing is, though, I don't see Cowher as being the sentimental ************ everyone paints him as. He won't coach NC State because he played there, he's not that stupid. And I doubt he'd coach there because of reminiscing from thirty years ago. He's going to take what's best, if he decides to come back, rather than buy into some rah-rah bullshit about the past.


Also, there were supposedly rumors that he bought a house up there, something that is apparently required for talk of Cowher. It also turned out to be untrue and I have no idea why a coach would need to buy a house months in advance.
