2 more HD channels on TW cable

So apparently the Bobcats game was in HD last night on DirecTV. This sucks. I just fired this email off to TWC. I can't wait to move in with my gf and switch to DTV, it's going to be great to have ESPNewsHD, Fox Sports Carolinas HD, and NFL Network HD all off the bat. This Fox Sports television deal is going to work out great for me, not so great for TWC I bet. Of course, since the Cats have about 5000 fans, it's not like they stand to lose a ton of business. But I don't forsee myself coming back, and if Fios ever finds it's way to Charlotte they will lose my internet business too.

 

I used to fire off similar email to TWC on a daily basis two years ago when I started missing nfl games. They would kindly refer me to getrealnfl.com and eventually through extinction, I quit sending them in. Two years later, I still miss nfl games because I cant get satellite, and twc is still as stubborn as ever. They dont care about losing such a small % of customers becasue in their eyes, their just as big a bully as the NFL.

 

Its god awful watching these bobcats games on an HD television. Its all dark and fuzzy..You cant tell the players apart aat all.

 

The games look marginally better than last year, but yeah, the production is very dark and fuzzy on my plasma as well.

The email I sent off was met with a stupid form letter. You're right, they could care less if they lose my business. I have a feeling once I get on satellite this time, I'll never go back to TWC. FiOS is the only thing that may compete with cable now that satellite have finally fixed their hd bandwidth.
