Mediocre running game could doom Panthers

1. I think the running game will get better if and when we get our OL healthy. I think it has been pretty darn good considering how much time our starters have missed.

2. I think our run defense has been pretty good. We kept a bunch of good backs from getting to 100 yards to start the season. Dunn run on us but that whole game was a mess from the start.

3. We can keep letting our punts get blocked but hopefully that is fixed now. We did a good job of sniffing out that fake the Cards tried.

4. Smith has more help this year than he has in several years. Granted Moose, Jarrett, Hackett, King and Rosario are not elite but they are not scrubs either, well not all of them.

5. Fox has made some questionable decisions but he has made some good ones too.

I thought this article was on the whole too negative.

 

I have to question if this guy has actually watched any Panther games. Stats tell a story on paper, but watching the games sometimes contradict the stats. The part about Moose is completely wrong, he's been impressive except for the bad drop in the end zone last week.
