    I have no clue how it was determined by the author (Dan Par) that it was Grade 3, he doesn't say.

    Thanks. I quit going there, maybe I should check them more often.

    Anyhow, here's (part of) what Chandler wrote:

    I have the game DVD'd. Since they went on commercial break following the play there's no way to know from that how long he was out, but approximately 2'07" after the collision (return from commercial break) he was shown to be on his back, so we know it wasn't several minutes.

    For the record, the AAN's definition reads:

    Further down their page they list guidelines for resuming activity. If it's seconds, one week; minutes, two weeks. This is for the first incident.

    It seemed forever, but I would guess he was completely motionless for a minute, then had some foot movement (very slight) and probably had just sat up before commercial break ended. It was scary.
